We are pleased to invite you to Platform: About Installation, the first of a two-part exhibition featuring Thailand's most dynamic emerging artists working in installation, sound and new media.
The exhibition will be on view at the Queens Gallery from November 9 -30, 2006. The opening reception will be on Thursday, Novemeber 16, 2006 at 6 - 8pm.
Platform: About Installation is curated by Manuporn Luengaram and
David Teh and will feature artists Wit Pimkanchanapong, Arin Rungjang, Pratchaya Phinthong, Sutthirat Supaparinya and Angkrit Ajchariyasophon.
This will be the first ever exhibition at the Queen's Gallery dedicated to emerging artists working in installation and new media formats. It is part of a wider emerging arts program that also includes Platform: New Media Lab, an exhibition of experimental new media work at the Art Center, Chulalongkorn University from November 23 - December 16. The Art Center will also host an improvised audio-visual performance by Platform artists (Dec 8) and a seminar
co-hosted by the Hong Kong-based Asia Art Archive - AAA - (Dec 7).
